Job Overview
Easy and Possible Organization (EPO) is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Partnerships, Innovation and Funds Mobilization to lead strategic partnerships, fundraising initiatives, donor engagement, and institutional growth activities.
The successful candidate will support the growth of both EPO and the Forum of African Youth Organizations (FAYO) by strengthening international visibility, building partnerships, mobilizing resources, and driving sustainable development initiatives across Africa.

- Duty Station: Kigali & Rubavu, Rwanda with occasional international travel

Easy and Possible Organization (EPO) is a registered non-profit and non-governmental organization focused on improving community livelihoods and promoting socio-economic empowerment.
EPO also manages several affiliated initiatives including:
- EPO Media House
- ISANO FM Community Radio
- Public Places Community Media
- ISANO Vocational Training Center (VTC)
- ISANO Savings Groups
- ISANO Arts Production
The organization also established the Forum of African Youth Organizations (FAYO), a continental youth collaboration platform promoting innovation, advocacy, and sustainable development.
Key Responsibilities
Partnerships Development & Management
- Develop and maintain partnerships with:
- Government institutions
- NGOs and INGOs
- Donors and foundations
- Embassies and private sector organizations
- Expand the FAYO network across Africa and internationally
- Build strategic collaboration opportunities for organizational growth
- Engage with African Union institutions and international stakeholders
Funds Mobilization & Grant Acquisition
- Lead fundraising and resource mobilization initiatives
- Identify funding opportunities from donors and development agencies
- Coordinate proposal writing, grant applications, and partnership pitches
- Maintain donor communication and reporting processes
- Develop strategies for long-term institutional sustainability
Innovation & Strategic Growth
- Develop innovative projects aligned with EPO and FAYO missions
- Increase international visibility and institutional recognition
- Support expansion and strategic positioning of FAYO globally
- Identify opportunities for participation in international forums and conferences
Proposal Development & Documentation
- Prepare high-quality:
- Concept notes
- Project proposals
- Partnership briefs
- Fundraising documents
- Coordinate technical inputs during proposal development
- Improve organizational visibility materials and presentations
Stakeholder Engagement & Representation
- Represent EPO and FAYO at meetings, conferences, and strategic events
- Coordinate collaboration with development partners and diplomatic missions
- Promote institutional visibility and credibility internationally
Internal Coordination & Capacity Building
- Support organizational strategic planning and resource mobilization
- Strengthen staff capacity in:
- Proposal writing
- Partnership management
- Donor engagement
- Institutional communication
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- International Relations
- Project Management
- Business Administration
- Development Studies
- Economics
- Communication
- Marketing
- Social Sciences
- or related field
- Master’s Degree is an added advantage
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with NGOs and government institutions preferred
- Experience in:
- Proposal writing
- Grant acquisition
- Donor engagement
- Partnership development
- Knowledge of youth programs, media projects, TVET initiatives, and social enterprises advantageous
Language Requirements
- Fluency in:
- Kinyarwanda
- English
- French
- Additional language skills are advantageous
