Job Overview
This role leads the implementation of sustainable agriculture projects in Rwamagana, focusing on soil regeneration, water conservation, and agroforestry initiatives. The position requires collaboration with local farming cooperatives, government agencies, and international development partners to scale climate-resilient agricultural systems. The successful candidate will drive measurable impact through data-driven project planning and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute sustainable agriculture projects aligned with national food security goals
- Coordinate with local farmers, NGOs, and government stakeholders to identify project needs
- Monitor project performance using KPIs and generate quarterly impact reports
- Develop training programs for farmers on organic farming techniques and resource management
- Manage project budgets and ensure compliance with donor and regulatory requirements

- Proven expertise in agricultural project management with a focus on sustainability
- Strong stakeholder engagement and community mobilization skills
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and agricultural data analysis tools
- Excellent cross-cultural communication and conflict resolution abilities

Education

Salary
350,000 – 450,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
