Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team in Musanze, Rwanda. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental sustainability initiatives, working with local communities and stakeholders to promote conservation and sustainable land use practices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, conservation, or a related field, as well as experience working in Rwanda or similar contexts. They will be fluent in English and Kinyarwanda, with excellent communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement environmental sustainability initiatives, including conservation projects and community-led initiatives
- Work with local communities and stakeholders to promote conservation and sustainable land use practices
- Conduct environmental assessments and monitoring to track the impact of our initiatives
- Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement effective conservation strategies
- Provide training and technical support to local communities and stakeholders
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in environmental conservation
- Fluent in English and Kinyarwanda
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Experience working in Rwanda or similar contexts
