Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot IoT-enabled tractor tracking systems and soil health sensors
• Conduct on-site training for farmers on using Hello Tractor’s mobile app for equipment booking and crop monitoring
• Collect and analyze field data to optimize AI-driven yield prediction models
• Collaborate with local cooperatives to implement precision agriculture techniques
• Coordinate with supply chain teams for timely delivery of smart irrigation kits and drone-based crop survey tools

Required Skills

• Proficiency in agricultural technology systems and IoT device management
• Strong understanding of Rwandan farming practices and crop cycles
• Excellent interpersonal skills for farmer engagement and technical training
• Basic coding knowledge (Python/JavaScript) for data analysis
• Fluency in Kinyarwanda and English

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, or related technical field. Advanced certifications in AgriTech or GIS mapping are advantageous.

Experience

2-4 years in agricultural technology deployment, rural development projects, or agribusiness operations. Experience with smart farming solutions preferred.

Salary

3,500,000 SSP – 5,000,000 SSP per month, depending on experience and performance metrics.
