Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainable Agriculture Systems Manager to join our team in Nyarugenge, Rwanda. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and implementing sustainable agriculture projects, providing technical assistance to farmers, and promoting environmentally friendly agricultural practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sustainable agriculture projects and programs
  • Provide technical assistance to farmers and agricultural extension agents
  • Promote environmentally friendly agricultural practices and technologies
  • Collaborate with local communities, NGOs, and government agencies to promote sustainable agriculture
  • Monitor and evaluate project progress and impact

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in sustainable agriculture, agricultural extension, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of sustainable agriculture practices and technologies
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with local communities and stakeholders
