Job Overview
This role is ideal for professionals passionate about ensuring pharmaceutical products meet global safety and efficacy standards. The position involves overseeing quality control processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining compliance with international regulations. Merck Rwanda is actively hiring for this critical role to strengthen its healthcare impact in Rwanda.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and validate pharmaceutical production processes for compliance with GMP standards.
- Conduct audits of manufacturing facilities and quality documentation.
- Investigate and resolve quality deviations or non-conformances.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to implement quality improvements.
- Prepare and maintain regulatory filings for health authorities.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical quality assurance or similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, GDP, and GLP regulations.
- Proficiency in quality risk management and root cause analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda preferred.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Microbiology, or related field.
- Master’s Degree or professional certifications (e.g., RAC) advantageous.
Experience
- 3-5 years in pharmaceutical quality assurance or regulatory affairs.
- Experience in Rwanda’s healthcare sector or multinational pharmaceutical environments.
Salary
500,000 – 700,000 Rwandan Francs (SSP) per month, commensurate with experience.
