Position Overview
ISN is seeking qualified and motivated Loan Officers to support its lending operations, portfolio growth, credit risk management, and customer advisory services. The successful candidates will play a key role in evaluating loan applications, monitoring loan utilization, supporting loan recovery efforts, and maintaining a healthy loan portfolio.
This position is ideal for professionals with experience in credit analysis, loan processing, microfinance, banking operations, financial services, risk management, customer relationship management, portfolio management, lending operations, and financial analysis.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Loan Processing & Credit Assessment
- Meet with applicants to explain available loan products and lending requirements.
- Receive, verify, and process loan application documents.
- Evaluate borrower eligibility and repayment capacity.
- Conduct financial assessments and creditworthiness reviews.
- Prepare recommendations for the Credit Committee.
Loan Portfolio Management
- Monitor loan disbursement and utilization.
- Conduct field visits to verify financed projects and collateral.
- Track portfolio performance and repayment schedules.
- Ensure compliance with lending policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate loan records and customer documentation.
Credit Risk Management
- Assess credit risks associated with loan applications.
- Monitor non-performing loans (NPLs) and delinquent accounts.
- Participate in loan recovery and debt collection activities.
- Recommend restructuring, refinancing, or rescheduling options where necessary.
- Prepare loan provisioning reports and risk assessments.
Customer Service & Financial Advisory
- Provide guidance to members regarding loan products and procedures.
- Conduct financial literacy and credit awareness activities.
- Support members in understanding repayment obligations.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Promote responsible borrowing practices.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual loan portfolio reports.
- Maintain proper filing systems and documentation standards.
- Support Credit Committee meetings and documentation.
- Generate management reports and performance analyses.
- Assist in policy reviews and lending procedure improvements.

Education Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

- Experience in loan administration and credit operations.
- Strong understanding of lending principles and credit risk assessment.
- Experience handling customer accounts and financial documentation.
- Familiarity with banking software and financial systems.
- Experience in loan recovery and portfolio monitoring is desirable.
