Job Overview
The Digital Telecommunications Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining MTN Group’s telecommunications network in Rwanda. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in telecommunications engineering and experience in network design and implementation.
The Digital Telecommunications Network Engineer will work closely with the Network Engineering team to ensure that MTN Group’s telecommunications network is reliable, efficient, and meets the needs of its customers. The successful candidate will also be responsible for troubleshooting network issues and implementing solutions to improve network performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain MTN Group’s telecommunications network in Rwanda
- Work closely with the Network Engineering team to ensure that the network is reliable, efficient, and meets the needs of customers
- Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions to improve network performance
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure that the network is integrated with other systems and services
- Develop and implement network security measures to protect the network from cyber threats
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a related field
- 5 years of experience in telecommunications engineering
- Strong technical background in telecommunications engineering
- Experience in network design and implementation
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot network issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a related field
