Job Overview
Ericsson Rwanda seeks a Smart Infrastructure Systems Analyst to design, implement, and optimize smart city solutions in Kamonyi. This role focuses on integrating IoT, data analytics, and urban planning to enhance public services, transportation, and energy efficiency. The position offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to Rwanda’s vision of becoming a regional hub for smart infrastructure innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage smart infrastructure projects, including IoT-enabled urban systems.
- Analyze urban data to identify trends and improve city operations.
- Collaborate with municipal authorities and stakeholders to align solutions with community needs.
- Design scalable infrastructure models for smart transportation, energy, and public safety.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in urban planning software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS) and data analytics tools (Python, Tableau).
- Experience with IoT systems and smart city technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate technical concepts into actionable plans.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Knowledge of Rwanda’s urban development policies and regulations.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Urban Planning, Computer Science, or related field.
- Master’s Degree preferred but not required.
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in smart infrastructure, urban planning, or technology solutions.
- Proven track record in managing cross-functional teams and projects.
Salary
3,500,000 SSP – 4,500,000 SSP annually, based on experience and performance.
