Job Summary
The Accountant will report directly to the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) and will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, preparing financial reports, monitoring budgets, maintaining financial records, conducting reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations.
This position is ideal for candidates with expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial analysis, internal controls, audit support, bank reconciliation, tax compliance, accounting software, general ledger management, cash flow monitoring, and corporate finance.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Manage daily accounting and finance operations.
- Maintain complete and accurate financial records.
- Perform full-cycle accounting activities and account reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure timely closing of financial accounts.
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and financial documentation.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Assist management in strategic financial planning.
- Monitor budget performance and analyze variances.
- Identify root causes of budget deviations and recommend corrective actions.
- Support revenue growth and profitability improvement initiatives.
Financial Analysis & Decision Support
- Analyze financial performance and business trends.
- Prepare financial models and management reports.
- Provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
- Support management decision-making with accurate financial insights.
- Develop financial solutions to improve profitability and sustainability.
Bank Reconciliation & Revenue Management
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Supervise revenue reconciliation activities across branch networks.
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity requirements.
- Verify accuracy of financial transactions and revenue records.
- Ensure proper reconciliation of all financial accounts.

- Promote automation and efficiency within finance operations.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Work closely with finance teams and departmental managers.
- Provide support and guidance on financial procedures.
- Participate in professional development initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business units.
- Perform additional finance-related duties as assigned by management.
Educational Requirements
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Accounting
- Finance
- Commerce
- Business Administration (Finance Option)
- Related Financial Discipline

- Professional Finance Certifications

Essential Experience
- 5–8 years of accounting and finance experience.
- Minimum 5 years working as an Accountant.
- Experience preparing financial statements and management reports.
