Key Job Responsibilities (JD)
Credit Analysis & Loan Processing
- Receive and review credit application files for proper analysis and evaluation.
- Analyze customer financial information and assess loan eligibility.
- Prepare recommendations and summaries for Branch Credit Committee review.
- Explain available credit products, loan terms, repayment schedules, and financing conditions to clients.
Client Visits & Relationship Management
- Visit clients to collect additional project and business-related information.
- Conduct assessments of collateral and guarantees provided by customers.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers.
- Support customer financial literacy and loan understanding.
Portfolio Management & Credit Monitoring
- Maintain the quality of the loan portfolio through regular follow-ups and customer monitoring.
- Conduct weekly customer visits and loan performance reviews.
- Participate in loan recovery and debt collection activities when required.
- Ensure proper monitoring of repayment behavior and risk mitigation.

Branch Operations Support
- Present and defend loan applications before the Branch Credit Committee.
- Support branch operations and serve as interim Branch Manager when required.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and customer documentation.
- Collaborate with internal departments to improve operational efficiency.
Education Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management, Commerce, Banking, or related fields.
- Additional certifications in microfinance, banking operations, loan administration, or accounting software will be considered advantageous.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a credit department, loan administration, banking operations, financial institutions, or microfinance organizations.
- Experience in credit analysis, loan recovery, customer relationship management, portfolio monitoring, or rural financing programs preferred.
Language Requirements
Candidates should:
- Be fluent in Kinyarwanda, English, and French.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
