Job Description
The Hospital Administrative Officer will support the hospital’s operational management by coordinating administrative functions, maintaining accurate documentation, and facilitating communication between clinical and administrative departments.
The role requires 3–5 years of administrative experience, preferably in healthcare institutions, universities, or large organizations. The candidate will help ensure smooth hospital operations, compliance with healthcare regulations, and effective management of administrative processes that support patient services and clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily hospital administrative operations and office management activities.
Maintain accurate patient records, administrative documents, and hospital databases.
Prepare official correspondence, reports, and administrative summaries for hospital leadership.
Schedule meetings, appointments, and departmental communications.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and administrative procedures.
Support human resource administration, including staff documentation and attendance monitoring.
Manage procurement coordination for office supplies and administrative equipment.
Facilitate communication between medical staff, departments, and hospital management.
Assist with hospital operational planning, project coordination, and quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient and administrative information.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related discipline.
3–5 years of administrative experience in hospitals, healthcare institutions, or large organizations.
Knowledge of hospital management systems, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and hospital information management systems.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a healthcare environment.
