Job Overview

This role involves analyzing and improving the sustainability of DHL’s supply chain operations in Rwanda. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement eco-friendly logistics strategies, ensuring compliance with international sustainability frameworks while enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits of supply chain processes to identify sustainability improvements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste, energy consumption, and emissions.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to source eco-friendly materials and services.
  • Monitor and report on sustainability metrics using industry-standard tools.
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote sustainable practices across the supply chain.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in sustainability frameworks (e.g., ISO 14001, UN SDGs).
  • Experience with supply chain optimization software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication for stakeholder engagement.
  • Knowledge of Rwandan logistics regulations and environmental policies.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Advanced degree (Master’s) preferred but not mandatory.

Salary
