Job Summary
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for planning, creating, and executing engaging digital campaigns across multiple social media platforms. The successful applicant will produce meaningful content, increase brand awareness, improve online visibility, and help communicate the organization’s real-world impact through compelling stories, photographs, videos, and digital campaigns.
This role requires an innovative individual with expertise in content strategy, social media analytics, digital communication, online marketing, audience engagement, branding, video editing, and storytelling.
Key Job Responsibilities (JD)
- Manage and oversee all social media platforms and communication channels
- Develop and publish engaging posts, reels, stories, photos, and short-form videos
- Create impactful digital storytelling campaigns to showcase organizational achievements
- Build and grow the foundation’s social media audience organically
- Improve engagement through creative and innovative campaigns
- Monitor analytics, audience growth, and campaign performance metrics
- Coordinate visual content creation, including photography and short video production
- Maintain consistent messaging and brand identity across platforms
- Respond to comments, messages, and online community interactions professionally
- Identify trends in digital marketing and implement fresh content ideas
- Support awareness campaigns related to education, vulnerable children, and community welfare
- Collaborate with field teams to document real-life stories and organizational impact
Education Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, Information Technology, or related field preferred
- Diploma holders with strong professional experience in social media management may also be considered
- Additional certifications in Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Content Creation, Video Production, or Social Media Advertising will be an advantage
Experience Requirements
- Previous 0-1 years experience in social media management, digital communications, content marketing, or online brand promotion preferred
- Experience handling nonprofit, NGO, education, or humanitarian organization accounts is an added advantage
- Strong portfolio showcasing successful social media projects, campaigns, or content creation work
- Experience using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Suite, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and analytics tools preferred
