Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure digital asset custody solutions using advanced cryptographic techniques
• Develop and maintain multi-signature wallet systems and cold storage solutions for cryptocurrency assets
• Implement and manage hardware security modules (HSMs) for key management and protection
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments of digital asset custody systems
• Develop and enforce security protocols for digital asset transactions and transfers
• Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure custody solutions meet regulatory requirements
• Monitor blockchain networks for security threats and implement preventive measures
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans for digital asset custody
• Provide technical guidance on digital asset security best practices to internal teams
• Stay updated with emerging trends in blockchain security and digital asset custody technologies

Required Skills

• Expert knowledge of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency protocols
• Strong understanding of cryptographic principles and key management systems
• Experience with hardware security modules (HSMs) and secure enclave technologies
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go for security applications
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing digital assets and cryptocurrency
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to security details
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical teams
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple security priorities
• Experience with security auditing and penetration testing methodologies
• Understanding of network security principles and infrastructure protection

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Finance, or related field. Advanced certifications in blockchain security, such as Certified Blockchain Security Professional (CBSP) or similar credentials, are highly desirable. Additional training in cryptographic security or digital asset management will be considered an advantage.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in digital security, with at least 3 years specifically in digital asset custody or blockchain security. Proven track record in implementing and managing secure custody solutions for cryptocurrencies or other digital assets. Experience working in financial services or banking technology environments is preferred.
