Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Agriculture Extension Specialist to join our team in Nyamagabe, Rwanda. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and training to farmers and agricultural professionals on the use of digital agriculture technologies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture and experience working with digital technologies. They will be able to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and training to farmers and agricultural professionals on the use of digital agriculture technologies
- Develop and implement training programs to promote the adoption of digital agriculture technologies
- Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement digital agriculture solutions
- Provide feedback and recommendations on the development of digital agriculture products and services
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience working in agriculture or a related field
- Experience working with digital technologies, such as precision agriculture and agricultural software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
