Job Overview
Accenture Rwanda seeks a Cybersecurity Analyst to design, implement, and manage advanced threat detection systems for enterprise clients. This role supports Rwanda’s national cybersecurity strategy by ensuring robust protection of digital assets in a rapidly evolving threat landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for potential security threats using SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for client systems
- Develop and maintain incident response plans aligned with ISO 27001 standards
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement firewalls, encryption protocols, and endpoint security solutions
- Provide cybersecurity training to staff on best practices for data protection
- Produce detailed reports on security breaches and mitigation strategies
Required Skills
- Certifications in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in threat intelligence platforms like Splunk or IBM QRadar
- Experience with network security tools (IDS/IPS, firewalls, SIEM)
- Strong analytical skills for identifying and mitigating zero-day threats
- Excellent communication abilities for presenting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of Rwandan cybersecurity regulations and compliance frameworks
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Master’s Degree preferred but not required
Experience
- 2-4 years in cybersecurity roles with enterprise-level experience
- Previous work in threat analysis or incident response highly valued
Salary
3,500,000 – 5,500,000 SSP per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
