Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Heritage Conservation Specialist to join our team in Kibuye, Rwanda. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital conservation strategies for cultural heritage sites and monuments in Rwanda.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cultural heritage conservation, digital preservation, and project management. They will be responsible for working closely with local stakeholders, including government agencies, museums, and cultural institutions, to develop and implement digital conservation plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement digital conservation strategies for cultural heritage sites and monuments in Rwanda
  • Conduct site assessments and develop conservation plans for cultural heritage sites
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders to develop and implement digital conservation plans
  • Provide training and capacity building for local stakeholders on digital conservation techniques
  • Develop and manage project budgets and timelines

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in cultural heritage conservation, digital preservation, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in cultural heritage conservation and digital preservation
  • Strong project management skills and experience working with local stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda
