We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Asset Custody Solutions Architect to join our growing team in Gatsibo, Rwanda. Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect secure digital asset custody solutions tailored to client requirements
• Implement Fireblocks’ MPC technology for institutional clients in Rwanda and East Africa
• Conduct security assessments and risk analysis for digital asset storage solutions
• Collaborate with financial institutions to integrate digital asset custody into existing infrastructure
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams
• Provide technical guidance and support to clients during implementation phases
• Stay updated with emerging trends in blockchain security and digital asset management
• Coordinate with global teams to ensure consistent security standards and best practices
• Conduct training sessions for client technical teams on custody solution operations
• Participate in incident response and security breach mitigation procedures

Required Skills

• Expert knowledge of blockchain technology and digital asset security protocols
• Strong understanding of MPC (Multi-Party Computation) technology and applications
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and enterprise security solutions
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills in security architecture
• Strong communication skills for client presentations and technical documentation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving technology environment
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for digital assets in African markets
• Experience with API integrations and enterprise system architecture
• Understanding of network security and encryption methodologies

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field is required. Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or Blockchain Technology is preferred. Additional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or blockchain-specific credentials are highly desirable. Continuous learning and professional development in the rapidly evolving field of digital asset security are essential for success in this role.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in digital asset security, blockchain infrastructure, or related fields. Proven track record in designing and implementing secure custody solutions for financial institutions. Experience working with MPC technology and enterprise-grade security systems. Background in financial technology or banking security infrastructure is highly advantageous. Experience in emerging markets, particularly in Africa, will be considered a significant advantage.
