Job Overview

IDEO Rwanda seeks a passionate UX Designer to join our team in Nyamata. This role involves crafting intuitive digital experiences for clients across sectors, including healthcare, education, and fintech. The ideal candidate will leverage design thinking methodologies to solve complex user problems while aligning with business goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement
  • Design wireframes, prototypes, and interactive models for web and mobile applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver user-centered solutions
  • Perform usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback
  • Develop design systems and style guides for consistency across platforms

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI projects
  • Experience with user research methodologies (interviews, surveys, A/B testing)
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and responsive design principles
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
  • Advanced degree (Master’s) preferred but not required

Experience

  • 3-5 years of professional UX design experience
  • Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design projects

Salary

1,500,000 – 2,500,000 SSP per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
