Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of construction projects including design, procurement, and execution
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards
  • Monitor project progress and report to senior management

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects
  • Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, AutoCAD)
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Fluency in Kinyarwanda and English

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP) are advantageous.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years in construction project management, preferably in East Africa. Experience with infrastructure development projects is highly desirable.

Salary

500,000 – 800,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
