Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage educational technology programs aligned with national curriculum standards.
  • Train teachers on using digital tools such as interactive whiteboards, e-learning platforms, and mobile applications.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps in technology infrastructure across schools.
  • Partner with NGOs and private sector stakeholders to secure funding for tech initiatives.
  • Evaluate the impact of technology on student engagement and academic performance.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in educational software (e.g., Moodle, Google Classroom) and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Strong project management skills with a proven track record in multi-stakeholder coordination.
  • Excellent communication abilities to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Fluency in Kinyarwanda and English.
  • Experience in budgeting for technology procurement and maintenance.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred but not required.

Experience

  • 3-5 years in educational technology implementation or instructional design.
  • Previous experience in government or non-profit sectors is advantageous.

Salary

4,500,000 – 6,000,000 RWF per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
