Job Overview

This role involves maintaining and repairing heavy mining equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize equipment downtime and optimize performance in a dynamic mining environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of mining machinery and systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in heavy equipment.
  • Coordinate with operations teams to schedule preventive maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in mechanical systems and diagnostic tools.
  • Experience with heavy machinery (e.g., excavators, haul trucks).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Knowledge of mining safety protocols and OSHA standards.

Education
