Job Overview
The Solar Energy Systems Designer will lead the development of customized solar energy solutions for clients in Rwanda. This role combines technical expertise with creative problem-solving to design systems that maximize efficiency and sustainability. The position is ideal for professionals passionate about renewable energy and its impact on community development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize solar energy systems for diverse client needs
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for solar installations
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure technical accuracy
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and client proposals
- Stay updated on advancements in solar technology and industry standards
Required Skills
- Proficiency in solar design software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or Environmental Science with a focus on renewable energy.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in solar energy system design or related engineering fields. Prior project management experience in renewable energy is a plus.
Salary
3,500,000 – 5,000,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and technical expertise.
