Job Overview

The Senior Mining Geologist role is a critical leadership position designed to oversee the technical aspects of mineral exploration and resource modeling. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the geological mapping and sampling programs to define ore body geometry and grade distribution.
• Develop and maintain complex 3D geological models using industry-standard software to guide drilling and excavation.
• Supervise the core logging process and ensure the integrity of all geological data collected from the field.
• Collaborate with the mine planning team to optimize pit designs and underground development based on geological constraints.
• Conduct rigorous quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) audits on all laboratory assays and field samples.
• Prepare detailed technical reports for stakeholders, outlining resource estimates and exploration potential.

Education
