Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Mining Geologist to join our team in Karongi, Rwanda. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying geological and geotechnical expertise to support the development and implementation of digital mining solutions.
The Digital Mining Geologist will work closely with our exploration, mining, and geotechnical teams to integrate geological data and models into our digital mining platform. This will involve collaborating with stakeholders to identify business needs, developing and implementing digital solutions, and providing training and support to users.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geology and geotechnical engineering, with experience in digital mining technologies and data analysis. They will be a team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply geological and geotechnical expertise to support the development and implementation of digital mining solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop digital solutions
- Integrate geological data and models into our digital mining platform
- Provide training and support to users on digital mining technologies and data analysis
- Work closely with exploration, mining, and geotechnical teams to ensure seamless integration of digital solutions
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related field
- 5 years of experience in geology and geotechnical engineering
- Experience in digital mining technologies and data analysis
- Strong background in geological modeling and geotechnical engineering
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
