Job Overview:As a Sustainable Materials Scientist at Albemarle Corporation, you will play a critical role in developing innovative materials solutions that minimize environmental impact while maximizing performance. You will work closely with our R&D team to design, test, and implement sustainable materials that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sustainable materials solutions that meet customer needs and minimize environmental impact
- Collaborate with R&D team to design, test, and implement new materials and processes
- Conduct life cycle assessments and environmental impact studies to inform material selection and development
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure seamless material supply chain
Required Skills:
- Master’s degree in Materials Science or related field
- 8-12 years of experience in materials science or related field
- Strong understanding of sustainable materials and their applications
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with life cycle assessments and environmental impact studies
Education:
Masters degree in Materials Science or related field from a reputable university

Salary:
4,500,000 – 6,000,000 SSP per annum
