Job Overview
We are seeking a Sustainable Urban Planner to join our team in Kibungo, Rwanda. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable urban planning strategies, working closely with local government officials, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in urban planning, a passion for sustainability, and excellent communication and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainable urban planning strategies for the city of Kibungo
- Work closely with local government officials, community leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of urban planning projects
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for sustainable urban development
- Develop and manage project budgets and timelines
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure successful project delivery
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Urban Planning or related field
- 8-12 years of experience in urban planning, with a focus on sustainable development
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
