Job Overview

RwandAir seeks a dedicated Aviation Safety Inspector to ensure compliance with national and international aviation regulations. This role is critical to maintaining our reputation for operational excellence and passenger safety. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine safety audits of aircraft, maintenance procedures, and operational protocols.
  • Inspect flight operations to ensure adherence to ICAO and EAC aviation standards.
  • Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies to update safety policies and procedures.
  • Train staff on safety protocols and emergency response procedures.

Required Skills

  • Thorough knowledge of aviation safety regulations (ICAO, EAC, FAA).
  • Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and incident investigation.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
  • Proficiency in using aviation safety management software.
  • Leadership experience in safety-critical environments.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Safety, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
  • Aviation safety certification (e.g., FAA, EASA) is an advantage.

Experience

  • 3-5 years in aviation safety, regulatory compliance, or aircraft operations.
  • Experience in East African aviation environments preferred.

Salary

1,500,000 – 2,500,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience.
