Job Overview
RwandAir seeks a dedicated Aviation Safety Inspector to ensure compliance with national and international aviation regulations. This role is critical to maintaining our reputation for operational excellence and passenger safety. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine safety audits of aircraft, maintenance procedures, and operational protocols.
- Inspect flight operations to ensure adherence to ICAO and EAC aviation standards.
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies to update safety policies and procedures.
- Train staff on safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
Required Skills
- Thorough knowledge of aviation safety regulations (ICAO, EAC, FAA).
- Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and incident investigation.
- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
- Proficiency in using aviation safety management software.
- Leadership experience in safety-critical environments.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Safety, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- Aviation safety certification (e.g., FAA, EASA) is an advantage.
Experience
- 3-5 years in aviation safety, regulatory compliance, or aircraft operations.
- Experience in East African aviation environments preferred.
Salary
1,500,000 – 2,500,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience.
