Key Responsibilities

  • Develop smart mobility models integrating public transit, cycling, and pedestrian infrastructure
  • Analyze traffic patterns using GIS and AI-powered simulation tools
  • Collaborate with municipal authorities on urban mobility masterplans
  • Design multimodal transportation hubs with accessibility features
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses for infrastructure projects

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in transportation modeling software (e.g., PTV Visum, AIMSUN)
  • Experience with urban data analytics platforms
  • Strong understanding of Rwanda’s urban development policies
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills
  • Knowledge of sustainable mobility frameworks

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or Transportation Systems. Advanced degrees in Smart Cities or Urban Informatics preferred.

Experience

Salary

3,500,000 – 5,200,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and project impact.
