Job Overview
Autodesk Rwanda seeks an Immersive Experience Designer to lead the creation of virtual and augmented reality experiences for clients across sectors like education, tourism, and urban planning. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to design interactive media that bridges digital innovation with real-world applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop immersive experiences using Autodesk’s VR/AR software suite (e.g., Revit, Maya, 3ds Max).
- Collaborate with clients to translate project requirements into interactive 3D models and virtual environments.
- Integrate 3D assets with real-time interactive elements for virtual tours, training simulations, and architectural visualizations.
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and refine prototypes based on feedback.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in immersive technology and advocate for innovative design practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Autodesk’s VR/AR tools and Unity/Unreal Engine for immersive design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing immersive projects (e.g., virtual reality, augmented reality, or mixed reality).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
- Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles for interactive media.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Computer Science, Graphic Design, or a related field.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in immersive design, 3D modeling, or interactive media development.
Salary
1,200,000 SSP – 1,800,000 SSP annually, depending on experience and project impact.
