This role involves designing, optimizing, and maintaining energy storage solutions for renewable energy projects across Rwanda. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement energy storage systems integrated with solar and wind projects
- Conduct feasibility studies for battery storage solutions in remote communities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with international energy standards
- Monitor system performance and propose efficiency improvements
- Provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases
Required Skills
- Proficiency in energy storage system design software (e.g., HOMER Pro)
- Experience with lithium-ion and flow battery technologies
- Strong analytical skills for load forecasting and energy modeling
- Knowledge of grid integration protocols for renewable systems
- Excellent problem-solving abilities in high-pressure environments
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or related field
- Master’s degree preferred but not required
Experience

Salary
3,500,000 – 5,500,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
