Job Overview
This role is pivotal in strengthening Rwanda’s agricultural supply chain infrastructure. The Analyst will design data-driven strategies to improve the efficiency of crop distribution, storage, and market linkage systems. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to Rwanda’s food security goals while gaining hands-on experience in agri-tech innovations.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct supply chain audits for agricultural products across Rwanda’s rural regions
- Develop predictive models for crop yield forecasting and market demand analysis
- Collaborate with local cooperatives to implement digital inventory management systems
- Design cost-optimization strategies for farm-to-market logistics networks
- Prepare quarterly reports on supply chain performance metrics for stakeholders
Required Skills
- Proficiency in supply chain analytics software (e.g., SAP, Tableau)
- Strong understanding of Rwandan agricultural value chains
- Excellent data visualization and presentation skills
- Fluency in Kinyarwanda and English
- Experience with agri-tech platforms and IoT-based monitoring systems
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Agribusiness, Supply Chain Management, Agricultural Economics, or related field. Advanced degrees (MSc) in agricultural development are a plus.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in agricultural supply chain management, with a focus on East African markets. Prior experience working with smallholder farming communities is highly desirable.
Salary
500,000 – 750,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and performance metrics.
