During my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, I gained strong knowledge and practical skills in financial accounting, including the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgeting, and cost and management accounting. I developed a solid understanding of auditing principles, taxation, and internal controls, as well as the application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The program also strengthened my analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling me to interpret financial data, identify variances, and support sound decision-making. In addition, I became proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting. Beyond technical competencies, I enhanced my communication, teamwork, time management, and professional ethics, which are essential in ensuring accuracy, accountability, and efficiency in financial operations.

Work & Experience
• Managed multi-donor financial reporting (USAID, Global Fund, ENABEL, etc.) • Manage all accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, inventory accounting and revenue recognition. • Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports. • Create accurate, complete and compliant reports including Ageing analysis, asset register, reconciliation between warehouse and Finance. • Review accounting entries passed in the books of account. • Ensure proper documentation to support vouchers, including authorization according to authorization matrix. • Review cashbooks and Bank reconciliation of RMS. • Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements. • Ensure that the fixed assets register is up to date. • Prepare and submit Annual Financial Statements. • Prepare and submit periodic report to the immediate supervisor. • Perform any other duty assigned by the supervisor.
