Job Summary
The Compensation & Benefits Officer will manage payroll coordination, employee compensation administration, statutory contributions, overtime management, and HR reporting activities. The successful candidate will work closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll accuracy, legal compliance, confidentiality, and efficient employee compensation processes.
This role is suitable for professionals with expertise in payroll administration, compensation management, HR operations, labor law compliance, employee benefits coordination, and financial reporting.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Payroll & Compensation Administration
- Manage and coordinate monthly payroll inputs and processing
- Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, overtime, deductions, and allowances
- Validate attendance records and overtime reports for payroll preparation
- Maintain payroll accuracy in compliance with company policies and Rwanda labor regulations
- Coordinate final settlements for departing employees
Employee Benefits Management
- Administer employee benefit programmes and compensation schemes
- Manage insurance, allowances, and other employee welfare benefits
- Support outsourced workforce and project-based employee payment processes
- Maintain confidential compensation and employee records

Compliance & Statutory Contributions
- Ensure compliance with Rwanda labor laws and payroll regulations
- Coordinate RSSB and statutory contribution calculations and submissions
- Maintain proper payroll documentation and audit support records
- Support compensation audits and HR compliance activities
Reporting & HR Operations
- Prepare payroll, overtime, and employee compensation reports
- Support HR and management decision-making through accurate reporting
- Identify opportunities for payroll process improvement and internal controls
- Assist with daily HR operational and administrative responsibilities

Educational Qualifications
